After its previous service as a working
commercial structure, the American Trio assumes
its final-and highest-use: spectacular condominium
loft homes for those who love stunning high
ceilings, colossal pillars fully integrated
into living spaces, and massive windows that
offer incomparable views of the Minneapolis
downtown skyline, all scrupulously maintained
and protected for their homeowners.
Built in 1910 to house the manufacturing
operations of the Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company,
the building later became the HQ of the Northern
Implement Company.
The building is seven stories.
The American Trio building is on the National
Register of Historic Places and the City Council
gave it local historic designation in 1977
